Army Junior Commissioned Officer JCO (Army JCO) Notification Eligibility & Post (128) details

JCO Religious Teacher RT 128 For Pandit / Pandit Gorkha (Hindu Candidate):

  • Sahastri / Acharya in Sanskrit with Karam Kand as the Main / Core Subject
  • OR One Year Diploma in Karam Kand

For Granthi (Sikh Candidate):

  • Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India
  • OR Individual should have ‘Gyani’ in Punjabi

For Padre (Christian Candidate):

  • Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India
  • OR Individual should have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is on the approved list of the local Bishop

For Maulvi (Shia) (Muslim Candidate):

  • Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India
  • Individual should have Alim in Arabic or Adeeb-e-Mahir/ Urdu Mahir in Urdu

For RT Buddhist (Buddhist Candidate):

    • Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India
    • Who have been ordained Monk/Buddhist Priest, by the Appropriate Authority. The term Appropriate Authority will mean Head Priest of the Monastery where the person has been initiated into the priesthood. The head priest should be in possession of Geshe (PhD) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rabjam with proper certificate from Monastery.
Havildar Surveyor Automated Cartographer
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Arts (BA) or Science (B.Sc) with Mathematics, along with Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent, or with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects, with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject.
  • OR a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil / Electronic / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical / Computer Technology / Computer Science and Class 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as the main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject.

Army Junior Commissioned Officer JCO Post Exam Details

  • There are two papers for the Indian Army JCO RT Recruitment exam: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  • Paper-I is a qualifying test that is mandatory for all candidates to take.
  • Candidates who obtain a minimum of 40% marks in Paper-I will be eligible to take Paper-II.
  • The marks obtained in Paper-I will not be considered in the creation of the merit list.
  • Paper-I will consist of objective-type questions, and candidates must score at least 40% marks to pass.
  • There will be 50 questions in Paper-I, with each question carrying 2 marks.
  • For every incorrect answer, a penalty of 0.5 marks will be applied.
