Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS)

Class 10 High School Examination Passed from a Recognized Board in India.

  • Minimum Age : 18 Years.
  • Maximum Age : 25 – 27 Years (Post Wise)
  • Age Relaxation Extra as per SSC Multi Tasking & Havaldar Recruitment Rules 2022.
  1. Educational Qualification: High School Pass from a recognized board
  2. Physical Fitness Test: a. Walking: i. Males: 1600 meters in 15 minutes ii. Females: 1 km in 20 minutes b. Height: i. Males: 157.5 cm ii. Females: 152 cm c. Chest (Male only): 81-86 cm

SSC Multi-Tasking Syllabus & Exam Process Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has updated the examination pattern and syllabus for the Multi-tasking Staff exam as per the official notification. Candidates preparing for the exam must familiarize themselves with the subject-wise SSC MTS Syllabus 2023 to increase their chances of success. Understanding the syllabus is crucial as it provides an overview of the subject weightage and important topics. The syllabus for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) of the SSC MTS exam includes four subjects: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude, English Language, and General Awareness.

The selection process of a Candidate for the post

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the selection process for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination this year. The selection of candidates will be based solely on the results of Paper 1, followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification. The selection process will consist of the following stages:

  • Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
  • Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) (only for the post of Havaldar)
  • Document Verification
